Santa's Gift-Tracking Service Port Mystery

This is a simple challenge about finding and connecting to a gift-tracking service. Yori mentions that he needs to use CURL to access the gift tracking system, but he can't find the service. This terminal is located just outside the Modern Scandanavian apartment building.

It looks like the gnomes have been meddling and changed the port the service is running on. The terminal message mentions we can use "ss" command to check which port the santa_tracker process is listening on. The ss (socket statistics) tool is an improved version of the outdated "netstat" tool. It can show us tons of information about socket statistics. To show all listening TCP ports along with the process, use the command:

ss -tlnp

It outputs:

LISTEN		0			5			0.0.0.0:12321					0.0.0.0:*

This shows us that the service is running on all addresses (including local 127.0.0.1), TCP port 12321. So to use CURL to connect to the service, you just need to create a URL with the port and then issue the command:

curl http://127.0.0.1:12321

Once you issue the command, you immediately get a notification that the objective is complete!

The only other thing I will add here is that the Gift-Tracking application does print out some interesting data, so I will show it here (including the Favorite Reindeer Joke).
